IMPORTANT: The manufacturer of this machine has used different cutter heads in the past. The only difference is the spline thickness where the pinion gear attaches and for this reason, Byrd produces these SHELIX heads with an oversized spline and then customizes each head for each customer. For this reason, you need to verify the spline thickness on your original cutter head. Upon order, we will send you all detailed drawings to show what exactly needs to be measured.
