1. Defective Items, incorrect order fulfilment
Items that are defective or items that were wrongly shipped to you will be replaced at no cost to you. If you receive defective items or an incorrect shipment, please contact us and we will arrange for the items to be returned to the manufacturer and for a new shipment to you.
2. Unsatisfied or Change of Mind
Please note that Byrd Tool charges a 20% Re-Stocking Fee for items that are returned for any other reason than being defective or incorrect order fulfilment. This only refers to common SHELIX heads they frequently sell as well as all SHELIX accessories. If your SHELIX head is made upon order especially for you, they consider this a custom order that cannot be returned. For this reason, you must first verify the correct cutter head for your machine to avoid getting a SHELIX head that does not work for your machine. If you order a head that you need to verify first, we will send you the necessary spec sheet(s) to confirm either upon your order or before upon your request.
Also, please consider that we generally charge you a lower or no shipping cost than what we pay the appropriate freight company. If you want to return your purchase, we may also have to charge you the difference between what you have paid for shipping and our real cost.
